Pros

The work life balance is good, and colleagues are all very friendly. Annual work conference/party in Barcelona is excellent and work from home/hybrid or office is optional. All studios are excellent workspaces with all the perks you can need. Pay and bonus is competitive and it’s generally a really laid back company.

Cons

Since King was bought by Activision the studio isn’t what it used to be. The company feels more focused on making profit now rather than making fun games. It’s a shame and unfortunately it shows in the company’s output over the last few years. Almost all of the very best talent has moved to other studios and trying to build new games feels labored and inevitably always fails.
