Not a Good or Comfortable Company to Work For, Even for the Gaming Industry
Pros
- Teams were flexible and contract workers were able to reliably shine and have opportunities for growth. - Depending on assignment, the testing process could be smooth - Contract workers worked hard and forming teams to build each other up was one of the best strengths of the work environment
Cons
- Management was collectively terrible, and there were multiple occasions of direct beratement of contract workers on the test floor, occasionally with colorful expletives. - Project leadership wildly varied depending on who was assigned to lead, with no set standard for format, procedure, or otherwise. This led to teams being inadequately trained in select skillsets and terrible deadlines a lot of the other time. - An obscene amount of overtime was required, but this was rarely productive. On multiple occasions, extra hours did not mean that builds would arrive on time, issues would be fixed and implemented, or otherwise. - Pay is among some of the lowest rates in the industry, and only select full-time employees are given a fair rate.
