A still growing company with a fun environment
Pros
- Friendly environment, GREAT colleagues, family-friendly. - Managers are flexible with vacation requests and most things, also lenient (perhaps to a fault). - Overall, decent benefits and salary increase. - Employee investment and training is a company focus. - Beautiful work-space. - The owners are great people! I've worked for other "family-owned" businesses and it was less than enjoyable. I'm glad this is no longer the case.
Cons
- Lack of organization: No adherence to organizational structure and responsibilities causes some needless work-stress and frustration. Some employees find themselves overwhelmed with work because of this, but the company is in the process of evaluating and addressing these issues. - Some lack in communication between departments/employees: Currently also being addressed with newly appointed upper management. - Delayed annual reviews seem to be the norm. - Unequal consideration of "accountability."
