Pros

This is a union environment. People on the floor are easy to work with. Good pay for people who live locally.

Cons

Very stressful. People with no family should only apply. Extreme amount of overtime for salaried and hourly. Seems to be a lot of "fibbing" to new hires about hours required to work.

Cons

Acuity Brands Lighting owns Peerless Lighting. Acuity is a large corporation that provides very poor benefits to employees and very little HR support.
