      Good opportunities to make an impact in healthcare policy

      Pros

      - Lots of interesting and impactful research - Opportunities for growth; hard work and knowledge/skills are recognized - Talented and friendly coworkers - Lots of valuable learning experiences - Options for work on different teams and internal recruiting - Choice of work locations (remote, Burlingame, LA, DC)

      Cons

      - Experience varies based on teams and managers. - Analyst training is sometimes a difficult first experience at the company - Senior management does not always do a lot to facilitate a sense of team purpose on a day-to-day basis. Sometimes more junior employees feel disconnected from the broader purpose of their work, and managers do not always do a good job of explaining this

      Great Place for International Applicants

      Pros

      - Great visa sponsorship program (cap-exempt so no need to go through H1B lottery + great Green Card processing support) - Great mentorship - Flexible working hours - Easy PTO approvals - Frequent salary increases - Great professional development support - Non-toxic environment to work in (highly supportive managers)

      Cons

      - Lowballing initial salary offers (but do negotiate!) - Company culture inconsistent in different offices (DC and LA office all the way!) - Top management can be out of touch and insensitive to employee needs
