      My Last Day Was The Best Day!

      None come to mind. Is this 20 words yet? Toughest part of the review right here, folks! Wow, really tough.

      Cons

      Seriously? Unless you’ve worked there, it wouldn’t even seem believable. Inappropriate doesn’t even begin to describe the activity and language used by senior “leadership,” and the activities that go on in the office remind me of a college frat house (at a large public school). One should consider working literally anywhere else in the world!!

      A Waste of Time and Unprofessional

      Pros

      Minimal effort required to get the job done. Office is close to the metra. Office is modern. They have a coffee machine.

      Cons

      Management is UNPROFESSIONAL. Office has ZERO diversity. The pay and commission structure they tell you is most likely false, as goes for any company with a commission structure - you never make what they tell you you’re going to make. ($60-70k for recruiting? No way!!)

Addison Group pays a competitive base salary and offers generous compensation plans with unlimited earning potential. While the staffing industry is not suited for every person, we do our best to assist those employees who are better-suited for another industry to find employment if they so wish. We would love to hear more specific information related to your experience in order to determine how we can improve, whether that be in the interview process or on-boarding (since it is slightly unclear what the scenario here was).

      Pros

      If you’ve just graduated college and have zero work experience, they’ll hire you and fill you with booze and empty promises to make up for your grossly under market salary.

      Cons

      Too many to count. First off, this company has a cult-like, sorority/fraternity atmosphere. Drinking culture is encouraged/forced on new hires, which lures in the new college grads. Maybe they should ask why the majority of the company is under 30? If you enjoy getting groped by a senior leader at a holiday party, this is the place for you, HR turns a blind eye to anything that happens if it involves the higher ups. They’ll tell you that you’re getting a competitive salary, but take a look at what other firms pay. These people will cut any corner to make a buck, they don’t care about their internal employees and care even less about the people they recruit. Stay away!

We encourage you to reach out to the HR team at Addison Group’s corporate office in Chicago to discuss your specific concerns so they may be addressed appropriately. We value our employees and make it a priority to provide a safe, positive, and productive work environment that allows employees to grow both personally and professionally. In regards to your concerns, attendance at events outside the office are completely voluntary and employees are not required to attend. We want to emphasize that inappropriate behavior such as hazing or sexual harassment are not tolerated at all. After the holidays HR was not made aware of any inappropriate behavior but we want to make it right.
