Pros

Many parts still run like a mom and pop, which is a benefit most of the time due to lack of red tape, speed to get things done, availability to interact with executive leadership, etc. If you work hard, you can punch your own ticket of success!

Cons

Pay can be a bit on the lower end of midpoint

Bi-weekly pay, reimbursement of CEU's (but not many), good work/home life balance (if planned accordingly)

Cons

Low pay for the work that you do, nursing staff does not understand role of social workers and will undermine your clinical judgement. Subpar benefits and very low mileage reimbursement.
