      Pros

      You get to work one on one with your client in their home .

      Cons

      If they pass away or go into hospital or nursing home your out of a job if you don’t have any other clients in your area . If they are not home when you get to their house you only get for 15 minutes. If they call the agency and say they don’t need service for that day , you don’t get paid , their isn’t any paid vacation or sick time .

      Pros

      Overall, I have enjoyed my time with Addus. To work for a company that predominantly focuses on keeping senior citizens at home, it does make my job more meaningful. Other pros: - Position was transitioned to 100% remote. Awesome! - Hard work is recognized. - Leadership has made a lot of progress over the last few years with company culture. - Leadership is open to change. They are always looking for ways to make improvements.

      Cons

      Employee benefits and pay at Addus are pretty standard and not competitive enough. It's too easy find another job that pays more, I stay because I find the work we do meaningful.
