They have benefits that you'll never get bc the supervisors trained to not give you full time hours. Lousy pay especially if you don't have enough hours and clients supervisors are a complete joke

I can pretty much set my own hours. I work almost totally unsupervised.

Cons

A lot of turnover in case managers, office staff - only 2 people that work in the office or as my supervisors are still there after 1 and 1/2 yrs. Ambercare is totally Medicaid funded, so most clients are at or below poverty level. All work is in the clients' homes. and I worked in one home where I had to spend 1/2 hour killing all the cockroaches running all over the kitchen counters and stove before I could clean them!
