Decent Pay and Benefits But..

Pros

I worked in the office, and not as a home care aid. The pay was decent. Benefits were good. Local office had a great group of workers and I enjoyed my coworkers.

Cons

Upper management was not supportive. No transparency. Corporate payroll and other management was inconsistent. Almost no one in management had any knowledge of certain smaller programs.

For Addus FAMILY Services- can be overwhelming at times, and every now and then rewarding

A lot of the work can be scheduled flexible* Reimbursement for mileage If you need time off, you can usually always find someone to cover for you If you have a long trip away, you'll get most of your pay from driving

Cons

Sometimes due to kids being in school or parents working, visits cannot be changed Sometimes you can have as much work as you can keep up with, other times, you won't have much Dangerous work environment at times
