Pros

Company truly cares about its team and inspiring you to grow. They train extensively to bring you up to speed, being a recruiter consists of interviewing, submitting candidates and making sure you meet all contract requirements.

Cons

Turnover sometimes due to changes within management, salary is on the low side, retention would definitely change if compensation was up to par with the competition.

Pros

Learned multiple systems used by customers (3rd party software). Work from home some days. Benefits of working within a team as well as working solo on various projects.

Cons

Starting off as a temporary employee the wages were lower than expected. Not a whole lot of room for advancement. Managers tended to accomodate those, not willing to do the job up to expectations.

Pros

I was able to find a contract position that did not have a 1000 hour limit, and I reported to a great recruiter. I realize this is rare; with this assignment, my work life was great. 35-40 hours/ week and flexible.

Cons

At the end of the day, it's a contract position. You may have ideas or insight that could really help the company, but your ideas aren't given time or aren't valued. Great work for those who want to do their work and go home; not great work for someone who wants to learn and make a difference. Or you may have the talent of an employee (vs you being a contractor) who is making much more than you. Also, you are at the mercy of budget cuts and can be easily let go.
