the guys are good the shop is good

Cons

facility is run down, the retirement in place is a joke, the healthcare BLOWS, Advansix is a greedy corporate outfit I don't see them lasting in Philly another 10 years

Pay. Long term if you can stand all the bs getting there.

Cons

Not a safe environment. Exposure to dangerous Chemicals. Entire plant is falling apart. Advansix cannot provide decent equipment needed to get the job done. They are in big trouble with their high turn over rate added on top of their aging and retiring work force that’s already there now. Current contract for new hires is not worth all of the cons. Run Run Run.

Pros

The people at the plant level are great. There is a wealth of knowledge out in the plant, it's unfortunate that it's left untapped.

Cons

Overworked and understaffed. Leadership tried to lean up the staffing by consolidating roles and now people have too much on their plate to do an effective job at what they were hired for. We take great pride in having all these certs for management systems and sustainability when they are just that, certs not the actual culture of the company.
