Pros

HQ location is quite nice for how much the company is struggling. Frequent free meals and swag giveaways. Some decent coworkers. Free coffee on tap. Development opportunities are completely dependent on who your manager is.

Cons

Company’s underperformance is very real. Absolutely toxic culture that should be avoided. Much of the leadership is self-serving. Evidence of the horrid culture is the constant churn throughout departments. HQ views the field workforce as merely a numbers game, also evidenced by churn in field. Advance is simply trying to catch up to Autozone and O’Reilly, of which they never will due to the significant infrastructure gaps and lack of committed workforce.
