Pros
A lot of freedom to do something you like. Imagine a project manager can do issue debug, scripting, test coding, and field application stuffs. Some other cross function like RMA repair, quality data analysis, product compliance, manufacturing, DFM & DFA. Very huge learning space and opportunities for fresh graduates who interested to learn all kind of stuff about hardware, PLM and engineering Not strictly on the work hours - as long as you finish what you need to do
Cons
Responsibility-based job (could be a pro) - result is everything, no matter how much time you spent, the company only cares about result. Not much salary grow opportunity Job function unclear Overtime is normal, especially working with people oversea, but no OT pays
