Pros
Job directly impacts our users worldwide giving me a sense of pride. Having the ability to innovate and share ideas to build better products. Small company atmosphere allowing us to be recognized on an individual basis. Nearly all employees are passionate and enthusiastic about their jobs and it does rub off on other people. Time off: Extend Christmas break and half-day summer Fridays and a huge plus.
Cons
Niche technology which may not have the growth potential as of other tech companies but it makes up for it in long term career stability. (Many folks have 25 plus years of longevity.)
