Good Training Not so Good for long term career

Pros

Training is good and thorough

Cons

Management is always promising but not delivering. Low Salary. Almost all of the projects are mismanaged or the managers are biting more than they can chew to satisfy the client.

Pros

- If you get in through the fresh grads program (ACTION), there will be a classroom type of training for general IT (required to pass PHILNITS FE Exam), Japanese Language (required to pass JLPT N4), technologies (at our time there was RDBMS, Mobile, C, Java) and OJT for applying learned technologies. This said training is very well rounded and there is solid support system for these greenhorns in the IT industry - People, including the managers, are nice to be with both in and outside work. Not much office politics. - Possible onsite assignment to Japan

Cons

- Most assignments are project-based and there is not much freedom in choosing where you will be assigned. It actually depends on the availability of clients, secured projects and resources at the time. As such, if one wishes to specialize in a field it can be hard to achieve - Title does not necessarily reflect your role. Roles are not clearly defined per title. I.e. You can be an Assistant R & D Engineer but you can be given any task if the project you were assigned to requires it. - Overtime culture is rampant - High attrition rate - Not sure if negative, but the company average age is very young
