Pros
Rather than competing with your peers, the work environment is set up to promote helping each other and sharing your skills with one another. Also, you get to learn Japanese and, if you're good enough, you CAN be sent to Japan.
Cons
Low salary (even if they send you to Japan), lots of overtime, and there is a 2-year bond after training. If the role you are given has nothing to do with your desired career, you'll have to wait until the end of the 2-year bond before you can find better career opportunities elsewhere.
