Pros

Nice people, independent work, not too much to do every day.

Cons

Pay is rough, mileage reimbursement is significantly less than other companies, working for a broker. Not much room for advancement.

Pros

Unlimited PTO, but this is so AS doesn’t have to pay out unused PTO. Flexible schedule.

Cons

Field managers work a Thursday-Sunday work week. No room for promotions as all upper management positions are ear marked with current Directors etc. External past employees are brought in to fill senior positions and current managers get overlooked. Excessive travel is expected and was not in the original job description. Loyal employees are belittled and accused of wrongdoing without any proof! Beware!! Your position is never safe, even if you have had a highly reputable reputation and over 10 years of service. You are expendable at any time to serve the current agenda. Do not trust this company and or the upper management as they are only out for themselves and their career path and will throw you under the bus in a heartbeat!

Struggling company

Pros

IF you have a good supervisor/manager and do a good job you can have schedule flexibility, other than that very, very few. They try to do some things right but can't get out of their own way. For a company in this industry the benefits package is fair. Time off and insurance are acceptable but no real deal - plenty worse/better options in the world. Pay is somewhat ambiguous given the business is tied to retail. The company has to make a profit but if you are looking to make decent $ look for companies that are growing instead of downsizing.

Cons

Constant nagging and treating you like a 12 year old child even when you are a consistent top performer... this is for both front line and supervisory levels. The company has lost many, large, long-term clients and is struggling mightily to 'reinvent' itself. They have had to lay off over 4000 people in the past year + due to this so as a result there is little to no opportunity for advancement. If you need a job/paycheck to simply tide you over this may be an option but the pay is low given the industry as a whole (although new employee's can maximize your ask) - existing employee's pay the price for sticking around. You are expected to use your personal cell phone to make your job easier with no compensation. Mileage paid is very, very poor - $0.37/mile while the IRS limit is nearly double at $0.725. They tell you that there will be tax implications to you as an employee if they pay you more (maybe so if you are a Supervisor/Mgr/Director who gets a slightly higher allowance and a gas card...). It may pay for your gas but it doesn't cover insurance, wear and tear etc. There is no or very, very little commission program for any type of sales for front line employees. Territories can be very large and spread out hence high mileage on a weekly basis. Very insular and do not give any credit or consideration to transferable skills for promotions. If you aren't from/haven't 'grown-up' in retail don't think you will have a chance at a promotion even if you are a top performer. If you need a survival job this may work but plan on a less than fulfilling work environment where you are treated as a 12 year old. If you are a mature, responsible adult looking for career opportunities I would suggest you go elsewhere unless you plan on working here for 12-18 months and moving on.
