      Advantage Sales and Marketing offers recent college graduates a great chance at a life long career in the CPG industry. Everyday brings different challenges and experiences which makes the job exciting. ASM is all about fostering their employees growth and giving their employees the opportunity to experience different roles, responsibilities and divisions. The ACE program gave me a jump start into the industry, and within eight months of starting the ace program I was placed into a full time position in sales. The ACE program also gives you network of peers to utilize throughout your career.

      Good exposure, helps build relationships with people in the industry, give you experience in different areas of the CPG industry

      Cons

      Your experience really depends on your mentor. If your mentor is not actively involved, you don't really learn anything. When being placed in a permanent position, you are really in the dark about what positions are out there. My "go-to" person in Talent and Development did not contact me once about an open position.

      Pros

      Coming in as a Leadership Development Associate exposed me to many areas of the business. I was able to see how some of the different segments operate, where as most people come in to the company focusing on their unique tasks and roles.

      Cons

      There is a lack of mid-level management to help orientate entry level employees to executive level objectives
