      Tremendous career advancement opportunites but must deal with slow changes and ambiguity

      Pros

      -There are career advancement opportunities at any time if you work hard to network and talk to the right people -The amount of clients and customers ASM represents allows you to be exposed to many different companies.

      Cons

      -Alot of ambiguity between HR/superiors and employees when important things like salary, job title, location, etc. need to be updated -The LDA application/interview process does not do a good job of explaining what day-to-day job duties will be

      Pros

      ASM is a large company who works with many reputable clients to deliver quality sales & marketing services to retail customers throughout North America. The leaders seem to be driven in expanding business in a positive way while respecting its employees. Many employees have experienced more than a couple positions in the company, creating an understnding of responsibilities and a solid workflow between all departments. ASM provides opportunites all over the country with good pay and benefits.

      Cons

      ASM could probably use more people (especially at the manager and team lead level) as some seem over-worked and pressed for time. I know there can be a disconnect at some levels where a manager might have too much responsibilty to spend time with each member of their team. This leads to associates learning more from their co-workers than trainging from their manager.

      Great foundation to start your career whether you stay at ASM or go elsewhere

      Pros

      Great experience in the industry. Many opportunitites, allows you to network outside of the company with clients/customers. Work hard and it will be noticed. Leaders take an active interest in your future and want to help you succeed.

      Cons

      Want you to move around to advance in career which is difficult if you are not looking to move but wanting to advance. The ACE program is not a very structured training program so everyone is exposed to different teachings and experiences which could greatly influence your future with the company. Great pay to start in the ACE program but increase to salary when advancing is not substantial.
