I can only speak for the department I worked for, but the work life balance was great. My boss was very helpful and gave me the confidence to work situations on my own while offering any support that is needed. People there are pretty happy and very easy to get a long with. Base salary is higher than normal, but the commission is a bit lower and tends to take longer to start generating.

Cons

If you don't come from this technical background, the start of the job can seem daunting and overwhelming. Commission is lower than the average and generating takes longer than one would like.
