Pros

Was once the best place to work. Used to keep only employees who provided excellent care and who met the highest ethical standards. The Leadership team from the top down was once staffed by the best and brightest, this is how the hospital grew into its success.

Cons

If you chose to work here, be sure that you have good liability insurance. In the name of change, and in my opinion, likely greed-driven, the hospital seems to have purged mostly all of the ethical, competent leaders, from Administrators down to supervisors and team leads. Replaced those leaders with people who are far too inexperienced, egotistical, unethical. Some of these new leaders have been long notorious with the front line staff for disappearing and doing unethical things during these disappearing episodes, and for not being competent. Same has happened with clinically competent staff, have been purged. Seems that the facility is trying to save money by removing competent, experienced staff? Its all so dysfunctional and will eventually translate into poor patient outcomes. The new managers and directors are in way over their heads clinically and make poor choices quite often. Change is supposed to go in the direction of improvement, not in this direction where the care has deteriorated almost overnight.
