      Pros

      Working at WMMC is like working with family, the good and the bad. You love like family, you fight like family. People leave, but almost always come back. There is pretty good communication between nursing staff and physicians, with good working relationships.

      Cons

      Just like with family, sometimes the drama can get personal. And managers and charge nurses do play favorites.

      Pros

      The Hospital has a terrific CEO & Operations Manager. There is a very positive and aggressive promotion of Leadership Development (LDI). Diagnostic Imaging also has a great Manager who's door is always open. The Staff are friendly and helpful. Providing friendly, superior, high quality patient care is something I see everyday.

      Cons

      As an Adventist Hospital I find that the "Board" makes decisions that circumvent high quality care. They expect and highlight their facilities that provide high quality care, but on the other hand limit development by contracting with mediocre companies. There are so many processes that involve "work around processes" because they tend to go with the lowest price and that may not be compatible with the equipment they have asked u to utilize. The Hospital is 15 years behind in billing, scheduling,and diagnostic data reading stations etc. If your are looking for advancement into a higher leadership role you should probably become a Seventh Day Adventist.
