      Extremely busy hospital, short staffed like most places. No yearly raises. Can go 2 to 3 years between raises.

      Places profits over employees, upper management takes care of themselves and sits back in laissez-faire fashion, taking care of those who cover up what’s really going on.

      Pros

      Yes, there are some clicks here and there, BUT, it was such a wonderful experience for me. The majority of the employees are very kind, not just nice. We all helped each other and they are so willing to teach anyone who needs help. It was a place to grow personally and professionally with other people who shared the same goals for patients. It is said that nurses eat their young, meaning that new nurses better be careful of other nurses. Not here. New nurses are put in a comprehensive training program and are helped during their journey. Leadership is made up of the very nurses that used to be on the floor with everyone else. They know what is needed because they have been there. I absolutely loved working there. Also, the benefits are great.
