      Pros

      Tightly knit team, but welcoming of new people. Fast paced, opportunities to work with various members of interdisciplinary team. Collaboration with other members really helps set up excellent patient care.

      Cons

      Lack of communication between supervisors and members of interdisciplinary team could lead to delays in care; supervisors are helpful but when things get busy, perception of support goes down significantly; distribution of workload between the units can be skewed. Fast-paced, dynamic workload could lead to nurses feeling overwhelmed. Not many opportunities for advancement.
