Pros

They have an uncanny ability to hire amazing intelligent and dedicated people

Cons

I've worked there greater than 15 years and I STILL think they need to re-evaluate their definition of "productivity."

Pros

You live in Hawaii and laid back culture. Member of Adventist Health hospital organization.

Cons

You live in Hawaii: High cost of living, low compensation compared to mainland (they say they are competitive / at 50th percentile of what Hawaii pays but they are not), not as adept to change (takes a while to accomplish projects). Currently they (along with entire Adventist Health organization) are experiencing centralizing and system wide transformation. Entire departments are being cut and employees let go. Many employees have to work additional jobs in order to survive paycheck to paycheck.
