Pros

Friendly environment and great healthcare. The doctors and nurses are absolutely amazing! It's good learning environment if it's you're first introduction to a big corporate healthcare system.

Cons

They do the Catholic shuffle with people who should, in fact, be fired and the Peter principle reigns supreme. A change of the old guard is desperately, desperately needed. GAMC could be a great place if fresh blood was brought in at the leadership level however, they have a "We've always done it this way" attitude so nothing will change. Not the best place to work to be honest. They don't offer competitive wages, and they ask a person to tolerate a lot of dysfunction by not doing anything about issues that are present or brought to the forefront. If you're just graduating from school, looking for a stepping stone kind of place, or you know you're going to retire in 5-10 years and you just want to collect a paycheck- this is your place.

Pros

We really thrive and believe on our mission. Employees are all here for the right reasons. The staff are all very understanding and flexible to work around our personal life with children, great benefits and a very positive environment.

Cons

I do feel if you're not "Adventist" or don't have a degree, there is no room for you to grow within the company.
