Pros

Great experience if you like fast paced work and talking a lot.

Cons

Must be able to handle customers yelling at you while on the phone with back office while also creating a wire; then spending 1 hour doing nothing, on repeat.

Thank you for sharing your experience working part‑time at Advia Credit Union. We’re glad to hear you found value in the fast‑paced environment and the opportunity to engage with members regularly. We also recognize that some roles, particularly those involving phone support and transaction processing, can be demanding and require juggling multiple priorities. Member emotions can run high at times, and that can be challenging. We appreciate your candid feedback, as it helps us identify areas where we can continue to grow and improve the employee experience.

Pros

Advia has good benefits for employees.

Cons

High turnover, it always feels short staffed no matter what department you work in. Management is not consistent, it feels like we keep drifting away from providing great member service and acting in the members best interest. some managers are "do as I say not as I do". Not a lot of growth opportunities in East MI. Its felt like a Chaotic place to work since I started.

Thank you for your candid feedback. While we’re glad our benefits stood out positively, we also take seriously the concerns you raised around staffing, leadership consistency, and maintaining a strong member‑first focus. Feedback like this helps us identify areas where clearer expectations, stronger leadership modeling, and better support for employees are needed. We appreciate you sharing your experience on this platform but also ask that you connect with a member of the HR team to share more specific feedback. We are always happy to connect!
