Pros

Work life balance, employee perks, flat structure and great culture. Super agile company where employees can pick up the phone to call anyone, decisions can be made quickly and products launched rapidly.

Cons

More senior managers being hired from outside the business with strong corporate backgrounds is corroding the company culture. Whilst this does bring more structure and process (which can be good - especially where other managers have been promoted through the business with no real experience in management or leadership), there is a large risk of turning Adyen into another bloated bureaucracy where management own information flows that stifle innovation and encourage decision paralysis. There is also a push to hire externally for most jobs so once you’re in there is limited opportunity for promotion.

Pros

Some of the smartest people you could hope to work with Fun, lots of parties and social events Free Wheelin', you have a lot of autonomy to make the most impact you can

Cons

Becoming very political, people with the right friends getting promoted to positions they are in no way qualified to do. You can learn a lot about payments but after that there isn't much growth available

Pros

Nice office Great food Travel perks to AMS

Cons

No diversity among CXO's Lack of autonomy and structure which seems like a paradox until you experience it There isn't a formal review system Politics over work product The list goes on, but the worst is how they treat minorities. I saw many suspiciously not meet the ~2 month probation period. It's a trend CXO's would rather ignore. Also, don't mention stablecoins. That's a naughty word.
