OK company to work for but grossly lacking people management

Pros
Company rapidly changing in order to cope with changing markets. IT department is constantly changing since 2012, taking certain parts of the IT organisation to a global level brings opportunities to the employees as well. Complicated environment so enough challenges.
Cons
Company (or at least IT department and HR) take little responsibility for their employees. People placed in the wrong role are more easely 'let go'' then being helped to develop themselves in order to achieve a fit. Also middle management is poorly equipped and selective when it comes to assessments, promotions etc.'. Senior management is not aware and not receptive for this poor performance.
