      Pros

      Generally, it's a good office and they have a good canteen and football pitches. The surrounds in terms of office space are all in place.

      Cons

      Too many and at the root cause of the troubles was the move from Scottish Equitable to Aegon. Scot Eq was a great place to work. Nice office, good teams & traditional ways of working. Staff had a good package twice yearly bonus and good benefits. Staff were happy. When AEGON took over (2007 sort of watershed) the culture changed to a ruthless one - systems outpaced processes. HR became bullies - aggressive performance management became the norm and cyclical redundancies are the norms now.

      Flat structure where you can get involved in a range of projects. Lots of change and clear targets.

      Cons

      Do like to change organisation structure and there are cultural challenges still being worked through.
