Pros
Medium sized company gives you ample resources but also lets you know and understand the leadership better. All manufacturing/assembly is done on-site in Pittsburgh so a young engineer gets to see a process from start to finish and get a better understanding.
Cons
Interns/co-ops get the same office space at other non-manager engineers, cubicles! A personal office space for an engineer is common at other offices. I worked during COVID so the experience sucked being at home except for once every few weeks going into the office. My managers couldn't help me as well when they are behind a video call and not there in person with me. I was not able to connect with coworkers as a sat at home by myself.
