Pros

Areotek assigned with Quicken loans which was a wonderful experience/assignment. Areotek has you started right away for training at your new position.

Cons

They Very often switch your job title, they will call and interview for one position and then switch it at the last minute. Also you must remember that they can and will replace you without a second thought or consideration. Just being #1 at your job is not enough, being on time everyday is not enough, Being friendly to your coworkers isn't enough, I honestly don't know the recipe to be successful with this company ... Finally, Mistakes are not acceptable or you will be fired.

A temporary employee

Pros

Aerotek will hire out of college and gives you the opportunity to try out positions before becoming full-time. They find the job for you, although most jobs posted for intro lab tech work are through hiring agencies.

Cons

No benefits until you've worked for 7 months, so any company holidays (which differ from Aerotek's) are forced sick days. At your job, you are treated as a temporary employee. I work at DuPont Pioneer and do a majority of the work while higher up employees do minimal work. There is little talk of advancement. I feel as though I'm being taken advantage of to do the most amount of work while getting paid the least. Some temps have been here for 3+ years with only a 50 cent raise. Aerotek itself is completely dissociated from me- my point of contact is unreliable and ignorant of my job responsibilities.

Pros

-Great opportunity for an entry level grad looking to get into sales -A strong launchpad for a career -young environment -clear career path into sales

Cons

-NO work life balance. 10+ hours a day and it's frowned upon to be late or to leave any earlier than 5:30. PTO is not encouraged and hours are very strict. -The politics and drama in the office is like a high school--leadership doesn't know how to stop gossiping and if a door is closed in an office, everyone is wondering why. -Extremely micro-managed-you have set goals daily, weekly, and quarterly, and you always have someone questions your work. -If you don't want sales, it's tough to just stay in the Recruiter. -Very high turnover
