Pros

- Good Benefits (nice bonus, and 401k matching) - Ability to work remotely - Encourages moving around in the company.

Cons

- They use a lot of contractors in IT, and working with them can be difficult. - Didn't feel a very sense of team with everyone working so remotely. - So much enterprise software you're constrained by. - Very paranoid, expect to not be able to use a lot of useful sites if you come into work.

Pros

performance evaluation process is not very strict, if your manager is happy you will be happy.

Cons

i work in the medicaid projects, they seriously need to follow a well defined project process.

Pros

I always had excellent managers. The workplace environment is professional and accepting. They value internal hires/promotions over external hires. Bonuses can be quite good. Flex time and PTO balances were really flexible and excellent benefits.

Cons

Twice yearly layoffs without any prior notifications making it feel like scare tactics. Frequent company reorganization makes the landscape shift too much. Lots of inter-office politics. Internal hires are severely underpaid, the company refuses to ever give more than an 8% raise regardless of job change. By the time I left I got a job for the mid range salary of my position at Aetna, which was 40% higher than what I was getting at Aetna. Health insurance was actually not that great.
