      Pros

      AEI is a great company, with an excellent work-life balance. As with any engineering job, the work can fluctuate greatly in intensity, but managers are typically capable of handling this.

      Cons

      The pay at AEI isn't fantastic compared to industry averages, and there aren't many perks outside of a very traditional benefits scheme.

      Pros

      The experience/knowledge/connections that you make while you are here are invaluable. This is by far the best school of trial by fire, if your good you will prosper, if not.... Well there are other companies out there.

      Cons

      Unfortunately this company tends to be far more reactive to the economy than any other. Lay offs start even at the hint of a dip in the economy.
