Pros

This is a good job to start off in marketing. Teammates are friendly and helpful.

Cons

Senior management will be the downfall of this company if they don't start getting back on track.

Pros

I have read the other reviews, and because of them I have decided to make a more positive review because I don't think they accurately depict Affinitiv. Yes, Affinitiv is a newer company and we do have some growing pains, but the people who work in Chicago are very open, friendly, and have been nothing but nice to me and others around them. I have worked with people from other offices and they have also been welcoming. There isn't a dress code, and people overall are very supportive. People collaborate among different teams and partner together on projects which I think is really great. I would definitely recommend Affinitiv to other people, but it takes someone that's going to be flexible and understand that the company is growing and changing. They don't expect crazy work hours, and are very flexible about time off and being sick. They don't treat you how they themselves wouldn't want to be treated. Toxic? Absolutely not.

Cons

The company is freshly post merger, and there are going to be bumps in the road because of this. Sometimes those bumps are frustrating, but If you can't be flexible about things then this isn't a place for you. Some people aren't happy about the merger and show that frustration, but the company is less than a year out of the merger so it will take a bit more time for things to level out. I don't really have any cons .

Recent changes have made this company a nightmare

Pros

My co workers and managers were amazing. But that’s it.

Cons

Let’s start with the “restructuring” they recently had that laid off 20% of their company. Including but not limited to the entire QA department as well as some of the support and installs teams. How are you going to run a successful company without a proper team place? “Oh we have a plan, but can’t tell you that plan yet” or you’ll be told “oh your job is just fine, you have nothing to worry about” this company is nothing but a joke that’s slowly going under and they’re just trying to find ways to patch the ship. The insurance is laughable at best and you’ll be begging doctors to take you and then have to pray you don’t have to see a specialist because that’s ridiculously priced out of pocket.
