Pros

AFLAC has a great compensation program as well as incentive contests, recruiting bonuses and build your own hours! Feel great making a difference in people's lives!

Cons

You have to build your own book of business. Cold calling is required, period. This means, from day 7, you're on the street knocking on doors, calling on business owners and your circle of influence build your personal book of business. It takes time to get to making sales, but when you sell, you're paid in a timely fashion, someone's within 3 days!

Pros

Great training, good business, well established.

Cons

If you can't survive off 100% commission, don't take the job. Cold calling every day for years to get somewhere will pay off, but have a backup in the mean time.
