      Pros

      Work-life balance is great. All of my previous managers have been fantastic. They respect, encourage, and challenge me.

      Cons

      The compensation has been traditionally based on regional competition, not national competition. Some areas have a lot of red tape making changes occur slowly.

      I am impressed at the length the company will go to insure that a client is payed on their claim. They know that this can be a bad time for people, and they make sure that they do everything they can to get those people their money. The claims side if the best side of Aflac.

      Cons

      If your in IT then stay far away from this company. Yet another case of massive outsourcing. Also, you're in the commodity column of the balance sheet, not the asset. That means your disposable. Put in 15 years of hard work there, pfft, your just a commodity to be bought and disposed of.
