Good people, has problems

Pros

Now, finally, Agilysys has the beginnings of a good management team. The former team was aweful. As a whole, this is the nicest bunch of employees I have ever worked with. Very dedicated, and a pleasure to be around. This is true throughout most of the company. There are very few bad apples.

Cons

Company is still losing money. Operations VP is unkind

Pros

Agilysys is a top contender in the Hospitality IT market. They provide employees a good benefits package and are reasonably flexible when it comes to balancing personal life. The opportunity for growth is there, you just have to know how to take advantage of it. The ability to travel the world installing hospitality products is also a big plus.

Cons

Not everyone shares a common goal. There are a number of employees that don't really know what their department, division or company's true goal is, which may be due to senior management's lack of awareness of this problem.

Pros

In my experience, I've found a great deal of flexibility to get my job done. It is definitely a get what you give environment, so with a proper work ethic, it is rewarding. I also quite enjoy all my co-workers. Management, although sometimes questionable in their decision making, has been great.

Cons

Many of the processes and policies seem to be counter-productive and simply irrational. It is very clustered in that regard.
