The company is larger, meaning they have more options available for their employees. They pay well above the industry standard and provide plenty of training for those who like to learn and be involved with their job. They provide flexible hours, ensuring you’re never without a day of work if needed and that you’re able to book off work if required. They have various committees, allowing your voice to be heard regarding various topics and opinions.

Cons

Depending on the position you apply for, the workload can take over what should be enjoyable. The people aren’t very friendly, creating relationships amongst your co-workers is very difficult. The work is extremely repetitive, if you like change then this line of work may not be for you. The chance at growth and continuous advancement takes months if not years, because they’re a union you’re not able to move around as much as you may like, that limits your chances of improving.
