Incredible onboarding, incredible culture

Pros

The weeks-long onboarding program is not only a great introduction to the company's product -- it encapsulates the company's entire ethos. It shows how much of an investment Aha! makes in each an every one of its teammates, and it underscores the company's commitment to its culture. The onboarding does not focus solely on how to use Aha!; it also includes lessons on understanding the customer, what it means to be responsive, kind, and a good remote teammate, and much more. After onboarding you then get to see how much all of your colleagues take these learnings to heart and practice them every day.

Cons

Make sure you really understand what it takes to work remotely. It's not for everybody.

You probably don't think a company like this actually exists, but it does.

Pros

Aha! is a team of highly talented and self-motivated people who are full of care and compassion for each other as well. Despite being an entirely remote company, the company it able to achieve more than most companies could of a similar size. We get together in-person twice a year at an amazing location and hotel to build relationships and have company meetings and planning sessions. Everyone at the company is very transparent and approachable - politics are virtually non-existent.

Cons

Not a con really, but if you think a remote job means that you can take it easy, then you should keep looking. If you aren't self-motivated then this isn't the place for you.

Pros

I can honestly say that I have never been happier. Here are my top reasons why: - I work with a group of extremely motivated, kind, and hard working people that inspire me to be my best every single day. - We have a clear sense of purpose that unites everyone. There is no unnecessary drama at Aha! — just people happy to be doing meaningful work and proud to be contributing to something great. - Sustainable happiness is not a myth. Since joining Aha! I have been able to fluidly navigate work and family demands without feeling burned out and stressed. - The remote culture exceeds my expectations at every level. I feel very connected to the entire team and love that we all manage to accomplish a lot together and still have an immense amount of fun. - Each week I look back and can clearly see how I have delivered value to the overall success of the business. I am frequently given the opportunity to work on very impactful initiatives .

Cons

While I love working remotely, the people at Aha! are so awesome that I wish I could see everyone more than twice a year in person.
