Pros

- I love working with a team of seasoned product management professionals with various vertical and product experience. - I appreciate working for a 100% remote organization where I get to work from the comfort of my own home. - The Responsive Method. It is very rewarding to work for an organization who believes in getting things done quickly. If you are goal driven, curious to learn new things, and like to move fast, then Aha! is the right fit for you. - I value working for an organization where our CEO and CTO understand product management and care about our customers. I recall one time elevating an issue to our CTO and within an hour or so, he let our customer know that the engineering team fixed the issue. I was shocked. - I no longer have to miss all my children’s activities during the week. Aha! affords me the opportunity to be able to work hard, but still be there for the important people and events in my life. - It is refreshing to be a part of a company that focuses on its own strategy and not chasing shiny objects. We are focused on our goals, which are not swayed by changes of others. - At the end of the day, I simply love that I get to work with companies who range from startups to Fortune 50 to better manage their strategy, roadmaps, and overall product management disciplines within their own organization.

Cons

It is difficult for me to identify cons, however, because we are 100% remote, sometimes it is hard to get to know others and build relationships across the organization. We meet up twice a year in person on a company-paid trip to a destination location to discuss the business and our future plans.

Pros

Working at Aha! for the past 8 months has been the most rewarding move of my career. We have total clarity on the work in hand, allowing the whole company to work towards the same goals. We all work incredibly hard, and I feel honoured to work in the company of the colleagues I now have. One special attribute which never gets old is just how helpful and supportive the team are with each other. If at any stage someone needs help, people are literally tripping over themselves to provide support to their colleagues. I was worried that working from home full time could be challenging. We speak to the team, and customers all day long on video and instant messaging, so I have meaningful conversations with people all day long. I don't miss any of the distractions of a commute or being in an open office, and enjoy the peace and quiet. We also get together twice per year in a travel destination location to meet with folks face to face.

Cons

I don't have any cons I can think of right now.

Pros

When working at Aha! you quickly learn that everything you've read in the blogs and on the website is true. This is a company which holds dear to its heart, the principles of kindness, transparency, clarity and growth. We all work hard each day towards clearly articulated, shared goals. We are empowered to act, educated by an on-boarding process that is second to none. After on-boarding, the mentoring process continues us along a path of personal, professional growth based on our own goals and interests. Twice a year, we all get together for a week-long event at which we consider the past 6 months and the 6 months ahead. We openly discuss any challenges and how we will work to improve. The learning and camaraderie are in equal supply and everyone is truly lifted by the event. Then we head home and put it into practice. Ultimately, we work hard because we enjoy what we do, who we do it with and we share in the rewards both intrinsic and extrinsic, collectively. That I get to do this in the comfort of my own home office is a real bonus. People ask, "don't you get a bit claustrophobic being stuck in the house all day?" and I can say honestly, "no." I love working from home. When I go to make coffee, I don't have that slightly awkward conversation with someone I don't know so well... I get to see my wife.

Cons

To be honest, I struggle to think of any cons of working for Aha! — except maybe that I no longer get to listen to 2 hours of Audible each day as part of the commute to work and back. I do miss listening to Audible. But on the other hand, I don't have 2 hours of driving every day.
