Pros

Aha! is an all-around great place to work and I wanted to share a few adjectives to help paint the picture. Company — strategic, thoughtful, and transparent. Culture — curious, caring, and fun. People — bright, kind, humble, and hard-working. Product — lovable, customer-first, and evolving. Every day, I am challenged to grow both professionally and personally, which is very important to me. Everyone is dedicated to working hard for our customers and for each other, which puts a smile on my face.

Cons

I am highly productive working in a remote environment. If you have not had the opportunity to do so in the past, it may just require a slight mind shift. Keep in mind that everyone is very reachable and approachable, and you'll love remote work as much as I do.

Pros

The people I work with at Aha! are top-notch. Everyone is genuinely friendly and supportive, and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome and to assist you. Aha!'s onboarding program is thorough and enjoyable, and the actual work is challenging and rewarding. As a software engineer, I got to deploy a small change to production during my first week which, while seemingly a token move, was meaningful and provided hands-on insight into the development and deployment process. I just attended my first semi-annual onsite which was simply spectacular, and I am looking forward to many more.

Cons

While I've worked remotely for years, others may find that this arrangement requires an adjustment period.

Pros

The workforce - Build strong bonds with some of the kindest and most driven industry professionals you could hope to meet. People are the fabric of any company and Aha! has a wonderful culture. Crystal clear and well-communicated vision, goals and initiatives - enables a remote workforce to be fully aligned and focused regardless of role or timezone. Comprehensive employee on-boarding - A thorough and intentional employee on-boarding programmes ensures you are quickly up to speed with the information you need to help you be successful in your role.

Cons

Working remotely requires a shift in mindset - Prepare to be highly productive but ensure you keep to a schedule, exercise regularly and work from other locations once in a while to add variety. Wanting to spend more time in proximity of your colleagues - Finding the best professionals around the world whilst achieving something great together forms strong connections and friendships. We’re fortunate to spend a week twice a year together in amazing locations but there is a yearn to spend more. Be mindful that customer success is a very different role to product management - You must be comfortable with that distinction (and transition) as the work required is different. Should it be a fit, it’s a meaningful and fulfilling role - helping fellow product managers all around the world, sharing industry best practices and ensuring happy use of Aha!
