Pros

There are no pros for the mechanics

Cons

The current set up in the area results in the employees being treated like garbage. Expected to work 12-14 hour days every day and you are also on call 24 hours a day with only 4 days off a month if you are lucky. If you are not deemed worthy, then you will be fired or you will quit. New hires do not last long. Absolutely no training so you better know their systems or you will be harassed on a daily basis. If you’re not one of the popular people good luck getting to go to any of the aircraft classes you were promised when hired, promotions, or even having things you need handled on time. They let bad personnel stay in their positions, the company makes new policies that never better the employee’s life, only works out for management and the bottom line and the forget to tell you about them until someone breaks the new policy. There are no yearly reviews or raises for this area.

Pros

good pay for the ems industry, good well maintained equipment, broke stuff gets fixed can’t say that for the rest of the 135 world

Cons

New management structure is a nightmare. No one knows who’s responsible for what, pilots directly reporting to non pilots often. Management tries to stay in service no matter how over safer more thought out consistent policy. Constant policy changes with no review or input of any kind from line personnel. Any issue or need has to be spread across three managers to get anywhere. Pilots union takes 1% and is worthless, third year now and no annual raise.
