Friendly / Helpful People Able to Move Laterally Throughout the Company very frequently (If Desired) Room to Advance Vertically if Willing to Put in the Work Competitive Pay Great Benefits Laidback Culture Many Field Locations Available

Cons

Area is not the most exciting (Trexlertown can be boring for people used to city life) Difficult to balance work/life in some roles as there is a large precense in Asia and Europe

Pros

The people I've worked with have become my family. They are dedicated, hardworking and caring. The training received through the company is very good.

Cons

Expectation that employees are always willing to work 24/7. For years the company had teams that would travel the globe learning the systems and businesses, but in a few short years since the projects have been over, their skills and knowledge has not been valued as an asset to the company.

Pros

-Responsibilities from day 1 for all engineers ( whichsometimes turns into 50-60 hour weeks) -Reasonable pay out of the gate (other companies catch up quickly after a few years of experience) -Good Benefits (dental, health, optical, etc) -Community involvement -Integrated internship/rotational program to attract new talent -Emphasis on flexibility, safety, and family

Cons

-No centralized "training program." Expects senior employees of each group to carve time out of their busy days to train interns and rotational program employees year over year over year. -New management expects workers to devote 24/7 to the company for no monetary incentives (Oil/Energy hours for less a lot less money) -High turnover amongst young employees (35 or under) -Hit or miss when it comes to projects. Work can become very repetitive and niche. -No real career advancement opportunities unless you are willing to relocate to Allentown, PA -Dwindling market share that is beyond the control of engineering or operations
