Confused by Los Angeles Area Reviews. Airgas is Solid Good Company!

Pros

I get the sense that management really tries to get to know the team and works hard to be 'present'. In the West BSC, prior management was not as visible and engaging as what I'm experiencing today. The number of associates in the Long Beach office grew rather quickly during the past three years. Recently management asked that we, the staff, put in place an 'Activities Committee' to improve the interaction and camaraderie of our 200+ associates. Management is not involved with the committee. They leave it to us run the committee and, provided what we want to do is SAFE which is the first priority for Airgas, we are allowed to plan events as we wish. Lot of fun..

Cons

Things move pretty fast. For some that can be a challenge, but working together we figure out how to get it done to address the customers needs. If you're not one who likes to work in a fast paced environment, it may not be for you. However, if you do, there are endless challenges and opportunities. Management listens.

Pros

As a temporary agency, it functions very adequately. As long as you submit pay stubs on time, you will be paid promptly.

Cons

Does not prepare candidates well with respect to what to expect when they interview with a client. The time sheets are not electronic, and have to be manually filled out.
