      Pros

      Airgas use to a great place to work- good benefits- managers cared- not anymore- benefits are mediocre, raises to working employees very poor, only good thing is the schedule Yes the schedule is Mon-Friday, 7:30 to 4 ish. Hard to find in this type of industry.

      Cons

      If you have a degree- know nothing about the product, employees or customer service, Airgas will hire you. Overeducated idiots. No management skills or backing of employees, no knowledge, extremely poor customer service, new inventory system is awful, entire Roseburg, OR store walked out due to horrible system bought "by management" and shoved down employees and customer throats. Just a dreadful place to work, keep looking, SOMETHING else will come up!

      Pros

      This company has great benefits, it keeps you in shape, you meet people from a multitude of industries which makes it enjoyable serving your customers. I enjoyed being out and about working at my pace to get the job done. The scenery isn't bad either depending on where you work. Florida was great.

      Cons

      Delivering bottled gases at a job site can be very frustrating (rolling bottles on dirt - getting bottles to the bottle rack). You have to be willing to work in all kinds of weather. Lightening storms can be fun on the back of a steel truck.

      Great place to learn something new and put your skills to work

      Cons

      Experience industry is definitely a plus. the gas industry is not a very common industry to work in because there isn't very much competition and isn't used by everyone like electronics for example.
