Pros

Excellent engineering department, lots of smart dedicated people and great management. Benefits are good and unlimited vacation actually exists. Engineering processes are constantly evolving. Any process that isn't worth the cost is quickly changed. When things go wrong there isn't a witch hunt, everybody is more focused on preventing the fault from happening again. Overall really excellent people, some of the best I've ever worked with.

Cons

Strategic direction tends to shift a lot, some projects don't get as much follow up as they deserve. Technical debt can take a back seat to product development.

Pros

Airship has a good foundation, solid product, and some very smart people in various areas of the company. They have done a good job navigating some tough times during my time there and are still standing.

Cons

The company doesn't communicate that well from ELT down to the ground level. They lack any type of direction when it comes to their commitment to Inclusivity, and they don't have any people of color in ELT or even VP levels to speak of. There is also a huge overreliance on a handful of Engineers who people seem to think will just be there forever since they already have been there forever.
