Pros

Company atmosphere is nice if you are close enough to work at the office. Some of the staff are friendly and dependable. If you can land a job outside of operations please do it because this company will be a dream come true.

Cons

In operations your told your voice matters but when you speak out you’re ultimately ignored. The company is constantly changing how they do things and go back on promises that were offered during hiring process. There is no room for growth if you do not want to be a yes man, which contradicts the company stating they want people to grow from within. To add to this, the company makes it hard for someone in operations to find job openings outside of operations. Most times positions will get filled without an operations member ever having a chance to even apply. Even if said member was able to apply there is a high probability that they’ll get rejected for the new position without notice or an upper management in operations will advise the hiring department that this person is to “crucial” to operations to let them go; thus preventing them from leaving operations. Seniority doesn’t matter, it’s all about favoritism. Complaining about another colleague to HR can do your career more harm then good and a counter statement to this is having someone that upper management “adores” complain about you will practically ruin your career. You’re not advised about the true work stress that comes with joining operations. With never ending calls, to a constant behind board, and a full email inbox; the amount of work you have to balance during a normal 8 hours is equivalent to working a cash register at a Walmart during Black Friday, but daily. Make sure you’re hired during October or April, this one I won’t explain but if you are hired the day after those months end it will make for a salty 6 month review.
