Pros
Work life Balance, because everyone is lazy, not motivated enough or incompetent to pick/deliver on challenging problems. From the management to engineers, everyone takes the short cut and easy path, which is clearly visible in their products as well as growth of the company.
Cons
-> Waaay below market salary. -> Filled with incompetent/mediocre people. -> If you do exceptional work, it is not rewarded in any shape or form, you will get the same hike and bonus as the one barely doing anything. Takes away the incentive of going extra mile, and encourage mediocrity. Hikes have become a joke anyway. -> Hardly any perks. You even have to pay for sub par food in office. -> Bottom tier Medical Insurance. -> This year(2024), they announced hikes will be applicable from October. So basically, killing the hike for this year. -> Always playing catch up with the market. They are trying to build cloud, NOW. Which, in my opinion is too late. Cloud is way too competitive a market with some brilliant players, who have extremely diverse and mature portfolio. Not to mention the brilliant workforce. -> While building a team, I had taken many interviews, but we could never afford an engineer who was good, because they were offering worse salary than the service based(WITCH) companies
